What Is Riverkids Jr?

RiverKids Jr. is a safe, fun, and exciting spiritual environment reaching kids ages 6 weeks to 4 years old. With our curriculum tailored around the specific ages and needs of the kids, we create an atmosphere that overflows with creativity and exudes a love for learning the Bible.

What Is RiverKids?

RiverKids is created for children in Kindergarten – 5th grade. The RiverKids experience overflows with meaningful worship, creative and high energy games, along with engaging teaching of biblical principles. Your child is sure to love every minute of their time on campus and beg to come every week!

Who Attends RiverKids & RiverKids Jr.?

All kids ages 6 weeks thru 5th grade are encouraged to attend a RiverKids Jr. or RiverKids experience every Sunday!

How Can I Stay In The Loop?

To receive more information about the RiverKids Jr. or RiverKids department, please visit and LIKE our Facebook page. You will be able to view upcoming events, weekly lessons, and volunteer spotlights.

Safety

We believe that safety is imperative as families entrust us with their kids each and every week. Every volunteer on campus is screened with a personal interview, federal background check, and specifically trained for their designated class. The entire River campus is monitored with security personnel for every experience.

First Time at RiverKids?

Upon entering the RiverKids Jr. or RiverKids departments, you will arrive at the area designated for check-in. Our check-in volunteers will greet your family and check your child into our database system. We will ask that you provide the following information:

  • Parent/Guardian Name

  • Children’s names

  • Date of Birth

  • Family address

  • Phone Number

  • Special notes: allergies, special needs, etc.

* Please label or ask a volunteer to label any personal belongings that your kids bring into their classrooms.

When your family is entered into our database, you and your child will be given matching ID tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child must wear their name tag, which matches the family’s ID tags. During checkout, present your matching tag to pick up your child. No child will be released to an adult without a matching tag.

A Special Note

If for any reason your child were to need you during an experience, you may receive a text message from the classroom volunteer. Please exit the auditorium immediately and proceed to your child’s designated class.
